Well, I finally did it...

Well, I did it...yep I cut my beard off to just the goatee...sniff. It was a lot of hair and i had to shave twice. oh well. founders week is this week and all is well. it's REALLY STILL COLD but John McArthur was friggin awesome last night. And i also found my new favorite hymn singers the Getty's. They're so awesome as well. But yeah i gotta go to dinner now then to more founders week then to work at 6 in the morning WHEE!!! not really because saturdays SUCK in chicago starbucks. line out the door from 6:30am till 3 pm hmm my EXACT shift...ugh
oh well I'm going to go eat BTW they only have good food this week in the SDR because we have guests all other times it's cardboard chicken and rubber beans. cya

Go "da Bears"?

Well another [Brian Hodge] superbowl has come and gone and being the FOOTBALL FANATIC that i am[n't] [Brian Hodge] i stayed inside and had nothing to do with it. First reason was that it is currently -4 degrees farenheit with -24 degree wind. I licked my lip and my moustace had icicles in 3 seconds. [Brian Hodge] second was that it was the Chicago Bears vs the Colts. [Brian Hodge] And seeing as I am IN chicago, I thought that either outcome of the game would result in my certain dismemberment, hospitalization, or imminent death to being outside near downtown tonight. The whole of chicago was PUMPED for this game. For cryin out loud the frikkin SEARS tower had the bears colors flying. [Brian Hodge] So as I am huddled in my room with a fleece blanket, a leatherman and a small pistol, I may be writing my last will and testament. Josh can have my computer...Beth can have my stereo...stephanie can have my phone and my mom and dad get all my love and money... as you may have noticed i interjected some names in my blog. This is due to significant heckling by my uncle who shall remain nameless...[BRIAN HODGE]...he wanted me to write his name in here or talk about him or something so HERE IT IS!! jk he's the coolest person on the planet besides my mom [he provided no comment on this issue] but seriously, I use him. If I need to laugh, I call him. If i need to rant or just tell a funny story, I'll call him. If I need bail money, I'll call...someone. He's offered but the authenticity of that offer has yet to remain seen. Well i'm gonna get off now and pray that I don't die tonight. Cya

Sinuses from hell

[be advised some material may not be suitable for some stomachs] So I got food poisoning on the first of January and had to throw up 5 times in 10 minutes. i hadn't thrown up since 8th grade. I had a 101.4 degree temperature and was freezing cold. I was fine the next day. On the 3rd, I started getting the sniffles and cough. I had to blow my nose a lot and the cough wouldn't go away. On the 6th, I flew back to Chicago and when I got here, I began to cough up the good stuff. I bought decongestant. It still wouldn't go away. Finally, a little over 2 weeks had gone by and my right ear was plugged from the inside. I went to see the doctor here at Moody and he gave me some really strong decongestant. That didn't work besides helping my cough. By now both of my ears were clogged. When I laid down, my head felt like it would explode. He finally prescribed me some meds and it took about 6 days to work. I can now hear out of both of my ears. There's still some popping when I yawn, but I can breathe and the coughing has subsided. Thank you for all your prayers. I'm feeling much better after a month of being sick! God is good. Please pray for my family as we are having some financial as well as work issues that God is bringing us through. My sisters are also having trouble with basketball issues. Thank you so much for praying!! I come home on the 10th of March until the 25th. I also need to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth out as the bottom ones are coming in horizontally and without them my top ones would grow into my jaw so they all need to be pulled in the summer. Well that's about it. It's freezing cold here in Chicago. The weather is not supposed to get above 15 degrees this whole week. Thank you again. Cya
